Began rough assembly of the dress component this morning. I am building the entirte dress first out of brown butchers paper, then once I am satisfied with how all the pieces react to one and other, I'll begin to rebuild the entire dress out of the real Monadnock paper. This process should save me a lot of time and heartache in the end. Today I am focused on the large interlocking organic shapes that comprise the back of the dress. There are 3 tiers, each breaking 10" above the one below. Ontop of these hanging roughly 24" off the waist will be some smaller organic pieces that will encompass almost the entire waist.
