Went to the hospital today to get my radiotherapy mask made. The mould is sized to your head exactly and keeps it completely still, so the treatment is as accurate as possible. A mould technician made the mask in the CT scan room today. A plastic mesh was used for this process that the technician moulded to the shape of my face and neck. The other way they can do it uses wet plaster bandages... I've had something like that done when I was younger. This process however is so much more awesome.

I'm going to keep this mask for myself once we are done with the proceedure later this month. That was my only demand of the doctors. I have to keep the mask.
